Grease trap cleaning in Geelong

What affects the price in Geelong

Every venue is different, so the only reliable price is a quote for your trap. These are the things Geelong contractors look at when they quote.

• Trap size

Bigger traps take longer to pump and fill more of the truck. Most contractors charge a minimum call-out even on small traps.

• Access

An external pit near the kerb is quickest. Traps inside, in a basement or behind a locked loading dock take more time and hose.

• How overdue it is

A trap on schedule pumps out cleanly. Solidified fat from a missed clean takes extra work to break up and remove.

• Frequency and contract

A recurring schedule usually costs less per clean than one-off bookings, because the contractor can plan the run.

• Location

Travel time from the depot and the disposal facility matters, so outer Geelong and regional venues can pay more.

• After-hours or emergency

Night, weekend and same-day overflow jobs cost more than a planned clean booked ahead.
